Supplies and Tools

  • J Size Crochet Hook
  • Worsted Weight Yarn in any color
  • Scissors
  • Stitch Markers
  • Yarn Seaming Needle

Symbol Chart

  • CH- Chain
  • HDC- Half Double Crochet
  • SS- Slip Stitch

Directions

Row 1 -CH 13 , HDC in the 2nd chain from the hook and in each other chain, ( 12 HDC in total )

Row 2 – CH1, HDC in very first HDC and in each HDC throughout ( 12 HDC in total )

You will repeat Row 2 for the desired length needed to fit around your head snuggly , but not tightly. Personally I had to do 48 rows because I have a fairly large head.

When you have reached the desired length , CH1 and finish off leaving a long tail. You will then fold your headband in half to seam it together. I did a simple whip stitch through each side , and weaved in the end of yarn.

You are all set to keep your ears warm now ! Hope you enjoy the process of making it !
