If you are looking to make a simple project to give your room some color and comfort , this pillow may be just what you need !
Its an easy pattern using Half Double Crochet in its entirety
Tools and Supplies
- US G6/4.00 mm hook
- Worsted Weight yarn in any color
- Stitch Makers
- Scissors
- Yarn Seaming Needle
Symbol Chart
- CH- Chain
- HDC- Half Double Crochet
Directions
CH 65
Row 1 – HDC in second CH from hook and through out ( 64 HDC total ) CH1 and turn
Row 2 – HDC in very first HDC and repeat through out row ( CH1 and turn )
*Marking first stitch and last stitch as you work up the project.
Repeat Row 2 for the project.
The measurement of finished piece of fabric will be 18 inches by 17 inches. Fold piece in half, seam close one side and along bottom. Leave one side open and use your choice of stuffing material. Use stitch markers to keep the closure in place while you finish seaming entire pillow closed .
Finished pillow will be 9 inches tall and 17 inches wide and it makes a perfect pillow to rest on while making more crochet projects !
