Candied Bacon

I absolutely love bacon ! The savory and salty burst of flavor that fills your mouth with each bite.

This is a simple technique for a savory and sweet way to cook bacon.

Ingredients

  • 5 Strips of bacon (or any amount needed )
  • 2 tbs light brown sugar ( increased if you are using more bacon )

Tools

  • Tinfoil
  • Small Cookie Sheet
  • Paper towels for draining

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 F

Take the tin foil and place on cookie sheet (it will make clean up so much easier ) Place bacon in a single layer on pan. Sprinkle the sugar across each strip.

Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy looking . Drain the bacon on the paper towels ( however don’t let it stay on there too long , because it will stick on the paper )

Serve immediately and enjoy !
