Eggless Cold Brew Tiramisu

Tiramisu has got to be in my top 5 desserts I love. It has taken me some time to tweak this recipe to my liking ( I didn’t want to have raw egg in my filling) So after some research and experimenting , this is the final result !

I also wanted to do a fun twist using Cold Brew instead of using Espresso!

Please give this a try and I hope you enjoy making and tasting it !

Ingredients

  • 3 oz store bought Lady Fingers
  • 8 Oz cold Mascarpone Cheese
  • 1 Cup Very Strong Cold Brew
  • 1/3 cup Powdered Sugar + 1 Tbs ( separate measurements )
  • 1 cup cold Heavy Cream
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 Tablespoon Cocoa Powder

Supplies and Tools

  • Bread Loaf Pan ( ensures a lofty tiramisu )
  • Hand Held Mixer
  • Spatula
  • shallow pan to dip your lady fingers in
  • Large bowl

Directions

1.) In shallow pan combine the 1 Tbs sugar and Cold Brew until the sugar is dissolved.

2.) In large bowl start to whip the Mascarpone cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Slowly add the cream and vanilla at a steady stream. The mixture will have soft peaks and be very smooth and airy .

3.) Take the unwrapped Lady Fingers and dip one by one into the coffee mixture and lay across the bottom of your bread pan. This is a quick dip into the coffee. You do not want the lady fingers to fall apart. You will use about 1/3 of the pack each layer

Coffee Mix
whipped mascarpone
lady fingers ready for dipping

4.) Take 1/3 of the Mascarpone filling and smooth over the tops of the lady fingers completely.

*Repeat process with the lady fingers, and Mascarpone. Alternating layers These layers do not need to be perfect , just evenly distributed.

Layer 2 of lady fingers
layer 2 of mascarpone
topped with cocoa powder ready to chill

Once you have placed the last of the Mascarpone on the top layer, take the Cocoa Powder and evenly sift across the top (This will hide any imperfections ) Cover with clear wrap or foil and chill for at least 4 hours.

I like to cut about a 2 inch wide slice , this is a very rich dessert. Can serve up to 6
